Autumn 1 2019

Week beginning 9th October 2019

Children from Year 5 and 6 represented the school at a local cross country event today. The boys came third and the girls came second. There were nine schools competing so they did really well with only one or two points separating them from the top spot. Well done everyone!

Mr Townsend has returned to teach music to Year 2 this term (he will be teaching Year 1 and Reception during the other 2 terms in the year). Below are some photos of the children singing and playing the boomwhackers.

Year 5 have been looking at Esafety within their ICT lessons and below is a poster they made to help keep people safe online. Well done!

Year 5 have also been busy building the different parts of the space shuttle with their crew (this is preparation for their writing 'A Mission to Zycron').
