Design and Technology

In Design & Technology we aim to broaden the children’s understanding of the need to seek solutions to problems, equipping them with the skills to tackle those problems (designing, making and evaluating their attempts) as they make decisions about selection of materials, tools and approach to the task in hand. Children will make high quality prototypes and products for a wide range of users and will develop the expertise needed to participate successfully in an increasingly technological world. Design & Technology includes Cooking and Nutrition.
