Science

In Science we aim to encourage children to develop a positive attitude to science and an awareness of the importance of science in everyday life. Through the Science curriculum, children will develop the ability to make accurate observations and to think clearly and logically as well as developing a sense of excitement and curiosity about natural phenomena. They will be encouraged to develop independence and confidence to undertake different types of science enquiries to help them to answer scientific questions about the world around them.

Our Science curriculum is practically based and covers all areas required by the National Curriculum, ensuring children develop their scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through biology, chemistry and physics.
