Important Timetable and Homework Information

PE – Thursday and Friday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing the correct PE kit on these days.

Spellings –Please ensure that your child practises the spellings on EdShed.

Maths Homework – Please ensure your child practises their maths skills using EdShed and Times Table Rock Stars. 

SPaG Homework - Please ensure your child practises their punctuation and grammar skills using EdShed.

Individual reading books to be sent home daily.

You can support your child by:

• Reading and sharing stories with them. The importance of reading cannot be underestimated. Reading for pleasure can benefit a child’s education, social and cognitive development, their wellbeing and their mental health.

• Encouraging them to use SATs revision websites such as: www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/primary , www.primaryhomeworkhelp.co.uk/ , www.ttrockstars.com and  https://www.emaths.co.uk/student-resources/past-papers/key-stage-2-ks2-sat-past-papers.

• Encouraging them to be more independent in preparation for secondary school.
